Yesterday was the P&F Pond outing, we ended up with 31 attendees, and a bunch of fish to the net followed by a great charcoal BBQ.
A great time was had by all and there are a ton of great shots. We had 2 new vols, Luke B and James M who both fell right into the routine.

Next, Gary S, who is known for his float tube skills managed to hook a beautiful overhanging maple tree showing even 60 years of experience doesn't mean you aren't going to sacrifice a few flies to the tree gods.

There was a beaver in that pond who has been quite busy and with a few slaps of his tail, he told us in no uncertain terms, "You're on my turf right now".

Bob S, one of our vets went on his virgin float tube excursion. Took a little getting use to, but he became a pro by the end of the day.

The BBQ was awesome, charcoal just makes it taste so much better. Huge shout out to John F, Art, John C, and Brian.
Plenty of food, comradery, and with the pavilion, the ability to get out of the sun.

This really was a great outing, vets and vols alike had a ball.
Our next event is fly tying on 7/23 at the American Legion Hall from 9:30is until Noon.
We'll see you in tow weeks to report in.
Until then, tight lines.
Don
One final note, July 15th, will be our one year anniverary, we're continuing to grow.
