Tomorrow we are meeting at the American Legion. Antoine, the 2025 Orvis Guide of the year will be leading this session showing vets and vols alike how to time his unnamed mystery fly. Antoine has been using this on the river with great success.

On another note, we received 2 unsolicited donations. One of these unexpected deliveries came in from Baton Rouge, LA. We’re getting’ noticed! We received a nice assortment of fly tying materials. Most were new unopened packages, all quality materials. Thank you, Alfred.
Just last night we received 40 new, still packaged fly-tying tools. These are Dr. Slick tools, and real quality stuff. This delivery came from an anonymous donor who we deeply appreciate.

Pictured left is Jim I, one of our vets coming out of the water on the Shepaug River with 2 of our vols on escort. Read the comment at the bottom of the picture on the left showing the his thoughts on our vets.
If you are or know of a disabled vet that could benefit from our program. Maybe you want to volunteer, or support us in other ways, check out our website and see what we are all about. You can contact us through the links on this site.
I'll be back next week to share our fly-tying session. Until then...
Tight Lines,
Doin
