What a great session 29 attendees for this morning’s session. We had 15 vets and 14 vols all tyin the basic Pheasant Tail nymph and the Pheasant Tail dry. It doesn’t get more basic than that. With just a hook, thread and a pheasant tail feather. The crew learned the real basics of the fly from Antoine, the Orvis 2025 Guide of the Year, and Capt. Bob, our go to fly guy.

From this fly, the possibilities are endless, legs, flashback, wire wraps, added peacock or not, and dubbing or not. The instruction got everyone to understand what is possible. The results were incredible as seen in the pics.
Another high point in this session is 2 new vets attending for the first time. Welcome Greg and Bill and thank you both for your sacrifice and service.

This event took us almost to full capacity at the hall. We had guys with 4-wheel drive climbing the snow banks to park.
Manny, one of our vets even brought a stuffed bread from his local bakery.

If you are a vet with a disability, or know of one, please check out our website for contact links. If you would like to support us in our mission either through volunteering, or some other way, use the same links on our website to contact us.
I'll be back next week,
Tight Lines,
